Lightronics attains EcoVadis Bronze certification!

Lightronics has attained EcoVadis Bronze certification for the first time. This international certificate confirms that sustainability is an integral part of everything we do as a company. It recognises the efforts in four core areas: environment, ethics, labour and human rights and sustainable procurement.

The PRUNUS H elevates the PRUNUS series of luminaires to greater heights

Lightronics is expanding the PRUNUS series of luminaires for street and site lighting with the PRUNUS H. This post-top luminaire is specifically designed for mounting at greater heights (up to 12 metres) and is perfectly suited for lighting large, open spaces, such as parking areas near hospitals and shopping centres, business parks and recreational areas.

IKARES Intelligent Low-carbon Energy Systems

The objective of the IKARES is to achieve a CO2 reduction of up to 60% with Smart Lighting systems and includes a Living Lab in Waalwijk, a Smart City scale model in Tilburg and 22 pilot projects in the developed environment in the provinces of Noord-Brabant, Zeeland and Limburg, in the Netherlands. The project partners, Lightronics and Global Innovator aim to make lighting more intelligent and to interconnect it in a network together with users and the environment.

Emergency lighting specialist Famostar looks forward to the future

This specialist in emergency lighting from Velp (NL), Famostar Emergency Lighting BV (Famostar), was acquired by FW Thorpe Plc (Thorpe), a producer of lighting for the professional market, at the end of last month. The acquisition on the part of the sellers was guided by Marktlink Fusies & Overnames.

Lightronics hit by major fire

As you have heard from the media, there was a major fire at Lightronics on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the damage to the assembly facility was considerable.

Lightronics finds temporary production location

After the fire that caused considerable damage to our assembly facility during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, we managed to find a temporary production location in Waalwijk. Preparations are already being made to set up the assembly facility at very short notice in order to be able to start production.

Update fire: luminaire 'moulds' retained in supply chain

In addition to the many positive reactions about finding a temporary location for our production and assembly, we have received many questions about the moulds of our fixtures. As you know, Lightronics has its own moulds, it is one of the strong points of our assortment.

Initial production wall and ceiling lighting ready for delivery

We are very proud to announce that the first shipment of TPN-Oppluskits, TTN and TPS luminaires is ready for delivery. In addition, we are still working hard on moving supplies of components and semi-finished products for the production of wall and ceiling lighting.
